Between Homes: Traditional Japanese Architecture: Preserving Buildings, Craftsmanship, and Culture

An exploration of endangered traditional Japanese buildings --including kominka farmhouses, kura sotehouses, temples, shrines, gates, and other historic structures--and the efforts to preserve their craftsmanship, history, cultural significance, and continued life in Japan and overseas.
