An exploration of endangered traditional Japanese buildings --including kominka farmhouses, kura sotehouses, temples, shrines, gates, and other historic structures--and the efforts to preserve their craftsmanship, history, cultural significance, and continued life in Japan and overseas.

Koji Today, a Preservation and Adaptive Reuse Specialist, and Andrea Carlson, Director of Programs, Education, & Research for the Kominka Collective, will present their work, trials, and successes. This is a free presentation!
