Hawthorne Neighborhood Tour

Originally U Street and later Asylum Avenue, today Southeast Hawthorne Boulevard borders several of Portland’s most popular neighborhoods. This tour explores a portion of the commercial and residential neighborhoods near Hawthorne in what began as one of the city's premier streetcar suburbs.
